Fete Day 2011

Yesterday we made it through another Albany Fair Day. I want to thank all those involved in the craft stall and their tireless efforts to make such beautiful craft to share with our community.

Crocheted Flowers

There are some wonderful people out there. I received this bag of loveliness from Sharon filled with the most gorgeous hand crocheted flower, leaves, butterflies and hearts. Sharon also included soaps with delicate, crocheted covers. I am speechless and very appreciative.

These will make great embellishments for T-Shirts, skirts, scrapbooking etc

Christmas Decorations

Wow. These would look beautiful on any tree. Made by one of the lovely parishioners.

Gillian's Canvases

I was so excited when I went to pick up the craft donations from the school office this morning. Gillian from Year 6 had made these two beautiful owl canvases. Thank you Gillian.

Fluffy Floor Mats

We have two chenille floor mats with non slip backings for the Kitchen or bathroom. Fully washable using a cold, gentle cycle.

Quilts

We have made few small sized quilts for the fete this year. I am in the midst of photographing them to place on this site.

The humble Mug Rug (Caffeine Carpet)

A little rug for your favourite caffeine beverage and biscuit. No plate necessary. Fully washable.

Denise and her Magic

I have a lovely friend Denise who has no ties with the school or parish and yet every year makes beautiful quilted items for both the Church craft stalls and the Albany Fair. Denise is one of the most talented quilters I know. Every stitch is perfect and made with lots of love. God Bless you Denise.
